The banquet is held at M.T.S.U.'s Tennessee Room in The James Union
Building. This
year's banquet date was held on April 27th and included remarks by Mr.
Ross Browner.

The Scholarship
Fund's Accomplishments
The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship
Fund of Rutherford County, Inc. is a non-profit charitable organization
formed in 1983. Its objectives have remained steadfast throughout
its existence. They are:
To Promote academic excellence among disadvantaged or at-risk youth of
Rutherford County.
To instill leadership qualities in students.
To develop self-reliance among students of the community.
To award academic scholarships to deserving graduating seniors who reside
in Rutherford County.
